| But the little money you can spare
can go a long way for Lola Meyang, who doesn’t need a lot. |
| |
| Give her an equivalent of what you
spend for a snack for ten days or twenty days or thirty days, and
you give her a big gift. You can be an anawim
partner by giving P500 or P1000 or P2500 each month. If you can
make this simple monthly pledge to her, you have given her love—plus
the food and medicines she needs! |

| Here are the other ANAWIM residents
you will give love to: |

|
|
| Jomar, 19 years old, mentally retarded.
He was two years old when he was left in the streets, deserted by
his own parents. ANAWIM picked him up from a dirty sidewalk, sick
and wasting away. Today, he is well and gives us many laughs. |

| Lolo Pinong, 65 years old. He never
had a home, except when he “squatted” at different churches.
When authorities order him to leave, he moves to another church. Today,
he has found a happy home in ANAWIM—and now he’s assigned
the task of maintaining our chapel! |
